Kites Over Pismo 2002

This was a two day festival sponsored by [the former] Pismo Kites. The first day, the day was sunny and the winds blew until 3 p.m. Then zippo. The second day, there was no wind until 3 p.m. Since the unofficial headquarters at the Dolphin Cove motel overlooked the kite fields, it wasn't so bad. Good company, nice hosts, excellent food, belly dancers (!), nice live music and a wonderful beach made for a nice festival.

All of the pictures below were taken on Saturday while the sun was out and an offshore breeze was blowing.
